Newmarket Equestrian Photography

Images that sell horses, reward owners and make sponsors look the part. For the people who own, train, breed and back Newmarket’s horses.

Newmarket Equestrian Photography

Whether you are an owner wanting your horse’s career on record, a stud preparing for the sales, or a sponsor who needs the day covered properly, you are dealing with a seasoned photographer who knows the racing world from the inside.

Newmarket is not just where we work — it’s where we belong. As Newmarket equestrian photography providers based in the heart of Suffolk’s racing country, we bring years of experience photographing thoroughbreds in training, race day action at the Rowley Mile and July Course, conformation shots for bloodstock sales, and the quiet beauty of horses at home in their yards and paddocks.

Our work has taken us far beyond Newmarket. We’ve been commissioned by international race sponsors to cover the FEI Endurance European Championship at Euston Park and the Toscana Endurance Lifestyle at San Rossore Racecourse in Pisa, Italy — one of the richest endurance events in European history.

Closer to home, we were commissioned by Discover Newmarket and Newmarket Racecourses to photograph their Season Launch — a day that took us from the Warren Hill gallops to the yard of Sir Michael Stoute, the National Stud stallion parade, and the private stallion show at Dalham Hall Stud. We work with families at the heart of Newmarket’s bloodstock community, and our images have been used across media, PR, and tourism campaigns.

We understand the equestrian world from the inside. We know how to work around horses safely, how to capture a stallion’s presence for a sales catalogue, and how to freeze the split-second drama of a photo finish. We work with trainers, owners, breeders, racecourses and equine businesses across Newmarket, Cambridge, Suffolk and East Anglia, and you deal with one photographer from the first call to the finished images.

The Newmarket Advantage

Newmarket, Suffolk, is the undisputed headquarters of British horse racing. Home to two world-class racecourses — the Rowley Mile and the July Course — it hosts 39 race days each year, including two of flat racing’s five Classics: the 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas. With over 3,600 horses in training across 50+ yards, 60+ breeding studs, and landmarks like Tattersalls and the National Horseracing Museum, Newmarket is a town built on horses.

Being based here means we’re never far from the action. Early-morning gallops on Warren Hill, midweek yard visits, and race day coverage — we’re available at short notice because Newmarket is home.

If your horse runs on Saturday, we can be at the rail. If a buyer is coming to see a stallion on Tuesday, we can have the shots ready first. We also cover Cambridge, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Norwich, and the wider East Anglia region.
